but the BIGGER news that makes me think 2006 is going to be alright was a little news snippet announcing the imminent release of a new Slayer album... on 6/6/06 of course...

and an ART OF NOISE BOXSET!!!! announced on the Zang Tuum Tumb website:

I'm looking forward to that BoC, of course. If you go to the Warp site, you can hear a new track from it playing on the main page.

I was thinking that I'd really like an album of straight ambient atmospheres from them, you know, without all the beats. I like the beats fine, but sometimes it's all the stuff going on in the background that's most interesting to me.
