and i'll give you two dollars right now if you can spot the bit where i namedrop you.
re: the box-set ehghghghghghghhg i've heard so far of two people actually listening to the entire thing in one sitting - one is Todd and the other is Scott, MCB's friend and "official Devilcake carpenter" (he built us a coffin with an upside down cross on it and he wants to do more - of course we're going to kiss his ass).
disc one might not be funny to anybody who wasn't there on those days, i don't know. but it cracks our shit up every time.
now - onto the ambient album with the palindrome title(s)!!!!!!!
i was listening for it, but didn't hear it this time.
i listened to the Devilcake disc, and most of yours last night. no stinkin' way i'm going through the whole thing in one sitting.
the recording actually sounds pretty well done this time, i'm impressed, but you needed to just send me the stuff to master rather than run it through all those dsp's.
wow, are you actually inspired to do the ambient stuff again, or are you just doin' a "i really should do that one now"?
i'm starting to get back into the swing of things myself.
this reminds me... i'm still gonna remix your old ambeent stuff misery/nature and that other one. it'd be done by now if i hadn't fallen off the horse with all my recording stuff.
it's on the to-do list taped to the door of my studio.
