that mp3.com problem

all those hours and hours i put in uploading and typing information for that mp3.com page for PBK are toast.

due to a "minor" problem in the database.

so, it's back to square one.

i didn't check the mail for the last few days,
i'll definitely go down tomorrow, though.

i ought to check out iuma, i seem to remember checking them out quite a while back,
and there was something i didn't like about it, but i can't even remember what it was now.

coming from the computer support arena...I try never to tell a client that it's only a minor issue. where there's loss of data, there's no such thing as minor.

btw....i got the id tags on the MP3 files entered. I'll most likely just resend the CD.

thing is, it probably was minor,

just they figured it would be easier to restore the database to the way it was 4 days ago than to fix each person's fucked up account.

i'm not too worried about it now. so it goes.

i haven't had a chance to plug in your mp3 cd yet --
i've been busy with that upload project,
and i'm mastering a yard of tracks for the muslimgauze remix project i'm organizing,
and doing backups.

i've been a busy boy on this h'yar mac lately.

maybe minor then...but a damned nuisance none the less.

anytime you get the CD, no biggie. Makes a great coaster, too. :-)

I'll send off the other one here in the next week or so with the proper track listings and maybe a blurb about each or something. (listen to me getting ambitious...not like I don't have a wedding in a months' time :-)
