I notice, while smoking a cigar, how very infrequently I "am present" or "in the moment" as they variously say.

As crappy as things are for me generally, it's easy to dwell on bad things that have happened in the recent past (or even the distant past)... or on the multitudinous worrisome things that await in the multiple universes of the future.

Fuggit though, it's one hell of a nice night out, the breeze is beautiful, the crickets sound pretty and everything's fine.
