"classic rock" is dead.
don't agree?
fine, go out and point out for me ten stoner kids under twenty with Led Zeppelin shirts on.
you won't be able to do it, because the stoner kids don't listen to rock anymore.
if i may make a prediction, the classic rock radio format will be non-existant within 10-15 years, and replaced by the Classic Rap format "Featuring the best of the nineties, zeroes AND tens!" it'll be impossible to avoid gottdamned Eminem even thirty years from now.
as much as i pined for the death of the classic rock radio format while it was king,
given its death, and the negligible value of the new royalty,
i'm a little nostalgic for it.
please, enter into the comments zone, and list out a few of your favorite Classic Rock hits.
there is no shame here, bare all!
