vuzh: seven (vuzh music)
wow.

i just completed a buncha stuff i've been meaning to do to the Vuzh Music website for ages.
i finally did away with that horrible system of adding postage to total cost of whatever a customer was ordering, and reduced all prices. i feel much better about the whole website now. it did take a lot of hours of editing html, which is an eye-bugging task to be sure.

i also plugged the fact that Drone Records is now distributing Vuzh Music stuff in Europe, which rocks like hell... hopefully no more terrible US post charges!

also had some words with the drone forest boys, and we all agreed that it'd be peachy to put all the tracks up for free mp3 download, and do away with the CDr versions altogether.

many goals attained!

descriptive text:
The first full length collection by drone forest. Clocking in at over an hour, "drone forest" is founding member Ian C Stewart's manipulation and assembly of sounds provided by hometaper MJB, melancholy soundscapist C. Reider and ambient guitarist Dave Stafford.

The sound sources provide the genetic code for the finished product which is mangled and then smoothed out, creating music that exists somewhere between ambience and raw noise.

Let's put it this way, this CD was so good, it inspired us to create something close to 20 hours of music in the space of a couple of months. Absolutely a classic. Assembled by Ian C. Stewart.
