i just realized that, for the last several years at least, Ian starts getting amped up and saying "HEY EVERYONE LET'S FUCKING ROCK!" about a month and a half before i get to the same headspace.
the last few days of Ian's blog proclaims that his mania is starting,
so mebbe it won't be long now... ?
