i downloaded the newest mac client for LJ,
Phoenix v. 1.3.7 and it rules.
today i burned up a few more of my mix CD's for friends, so i should get those in the mail soon!
i also comp'ed the vocal for "Envy" and cleaned up the whole song a lot. i may be in position to begin a mixdown!
right now i'm transferring one of the many cassettes that i collected during my 10 years as a hometaper / music reviewer to my recorder so that i can then transfer it to CD.
the one i'm working on now is "Vier Stukken" by Kapotte Muziek, a masterpiece of industrial ambience out on the early Realization Recordings label. what a great label they are/were. too bad he phased out his excellent catalogue of cassettes. there are many from his catalogue that i'll eventually be transferring to CD.
however, i just got an e-mail out of the blue from Eric Isbell who wants a copy of the old ENDT sessions we (and several others) did together when we were in high school. so i guess that'll be the next cassette up. that'll be a weird thing to have on CD.
