1. averageness:
   Well, it's either be repulsed by it or interested in it, so i choose the latter. I'm interested in all sorts of averageness, but the first thing i think of is a question i that gets my imagination firing... "What does the average American look like?" If i were still a mail artist, i'd do a mail art project on that topic!
2. cheri huber:
   Cheri Huber is a Zen Buddhist monk. She wrote some books that helped me out a lot when i had my big breakdown a few years ago. One of the books she wrote is called "There is Nothing Wrong With You" i liked that one. Although the title sounds like a cheezy "I'm OK, You're OK" bunch of fluff, the content of the book seemed simple and immediately applicable, and was a very approachable entry to the key ideas of Agnostic Buddhism.
3. drones:
   The drone has been a key ingredient in my music for as long as i've made music. Yay drones.
4. geko:
   Geko was a band from Los Angeles, Carrie McNinch on guitar and Sarah Folkman on bass and vocals. They played damaged art rock with a drum machine providing rhythm. wonkyear and his (now ex-)chunbunt introduced me to this band through one of their zines. Sarah's voice was particularly monotonous, but i liked it a lot at the time. Haven't listened to them in ages though.
   
5. john sayles:
   John Sayles made some movies that i like a lot. He's also made some crappy movies, though. i like: Matewan and Lone Star (and to a slightly lesser degree Eight Men Out and Passion Fish) -- i'm probably forgetting some.
6. mail art:
   For a few years i was a mail artist, trading art with people through the postal service. I was very active, most of my work was postcard sized. I co-hosted a mail art show with Julee Peezlee in Boulder called "Cold Snap" from which one of my icons (the blue one) came. I built up a large network of friends, and continue to network with many of them.
7. nepali women:
   I used to live in Estes Park, which is a tourist town with a very strong, hectic Summer tourist season, and a very slow and quiet Winter season. In recent years, the town has drawn students from other countries, who come to work during the Summer season, then fly back to their home country for school. The biggest populations come from Czech Republic and Nepal. Zow! Those young ladies from Nepal are a knockout. Yes, my libido wrote this interest.
8. single malt scotch:
   I like single malt scotch. Pretty straightforward.
9. the balvenie:
   Uh, see interest #8. the Balvenie makes some yummy single malt scotches. I'm working on a bottle of Balvenie 12-year at present.

    Why am I thinking about one sock?
